Cesar Millan the Dog Whisperer & the Great Dog Adventure

Cesar Millan, star of the hit television show “Dog Whisperer,” will host the first-ever Great Dog Adventure, a weekend getaway to San Diego, where dogs and their human companions will come together for an action-packed weekend of canine fun in the sun.  The exciting weekend will take place June 25th and 26th, 2010 and is presented by Best Western, Scooby-Doo, and Veterinary Pet Insurance.
The Great Dog Adventure weekend includes:
  • Participation in a 50-dog Pack Walk in San Diego led by Cesar Millan on June 26
  • Two (2) consecutive nights’ hotel accommodations at the Best Western Hacienda Hotel for two adults and two children under the age of 17 (double occupancy)
  • Ground transportation to and from the hotel for off-site adventure events

will share his techniques for developing happier, healthier relationships between humans and their canine companions at the special benefit event Friday, June 25 at 7:00pm at University of San Diego’s Shiley Theatre.
Event-goers will learn Cesar Millan’s amazing techniques including:

·         How to recognize the “animal” behavior in dogs

·         How we humanize dogs and how this “people” behavior impacts “dog” behavior

·         The different levels of energy and how they influence the dog’s personality

·         Why providing rules, boundaries, and limitations is important

·         What dog fulfillment is and how we can provide balance by following simple guidelines

·         Cesar’s leash techniques, and when and where to apply them

Proceeds from both events will benefit The Millan Foundation to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abused and abandoned dogs.
