Cesar Millan and Scooby-Doo have turned 40!  The world renowned dog behavior specialist and beloved iconic cartoon character celebrated turning 40 together at their very own birthday bash at the East Valley Animal Shelter in Van Nuys, Calif.

Dog behavior specialist Cesar Millan is best known for his hit television series Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan on National Geographic Channel.  The Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation promotes the adoption of abused and abandoned dogs at shelters and rescue organizations.  The foundation also provides direct funding for spaying and neutering programs and the humane education of children of all ages.  For more information, visit MillanFoundation.org.

So there, I’ve said it.  My NY buddy lives in NY right next to Central Park and he is one lucky dog!  He sends me photos all the time of the cool dogs, the hip dogs and the most pampered dogs.  Really, some of those dogs have the life.  They don’t even have to do the walking … they get pushed around in carts and ride in bicycle baskets.  Don’t even have to start panting to cool off.

Then there’s this guy who wears his own sunglasses and sun visor.  I mean, what’s up with that?  Mik would never let me walk around like this, much less in NYC!  But then, I guess I have to remember that there are some real celeb dogs and their owners walking around the park there.  Have you seen any stars in your hometown lately?

Sasha and Malia must be so Happy!  They now have their promised dog and the White House will now be a much more fun place to be.   I haven’t met any Portugese Waterdogs myself but I hear they are pretty happy around humans.   Hey, maybe I will get an invite to the White House by Bo, himself, once he gets the run of the place.

Yeah, and I hear that the Prez won’t let Bo sleep in the main bed … we’ll see how that goes, so stay tuned.   But Doggietown is happy to hear about Bo and his nice new family.  Biscuits to you buddy!

Who knew?  I just came across this fun radio show all about us dogs!  They talk about all sorts of things like dog birthday parties, dog etiquette and more.

This show is broadcast on Wednesday evenings … at 10 pm Eastern time, earlier for other time zones.  I can already tell, this will be one of my favorite shows.  It says interviews … do you think they mean they interview dogs??

My family says the Marley & Me movie was great.  Obviously … I didn’t get to see it.  For some reason they won’t let us dogs into the theatre.  I think they should change the rules and let well-behaved dogs in.  Now I have to wait until someone in our house rents a DVD.  No fair!

I could have been the Star in that movie!  Mik says that the dog, Marley reminds him of me … so there you go!  Maybe I’ll start looking for an agent … you know,  ‘google’ dog agents or something.  Uh-Oh!  Gotta go … someone just ran back into the house …

The big news in our house today is …  Who will be the top dog?  Or … First Pooch, as they have been calling the unidentified dog.  Apparently it is between a Labradoodle … who would want to be called a ‘doodle” … or a Portugese Water Dog.   Hmmmm … which would you pick?  Well, I guess it’s not up to us then is it?  I think Malia and Sasha will get last word … or, maybe it will be President Obama.  We’ll just have to wait and see.

Well, I couldn’t believe my eyes when they eliminated Tillman on Greatest American Dog last night.  That dog so totally depicted “lazy” … the word that Ron drew for their photographic session.  They should have gotten rid of the dog with the snarl band for sure … if my master, Mik, put one of those on me I think I’d have to bite him and show him that I not only looked “angry” but that I was angry!  And I’m a pretty laid-back kinda mutt.  I don’t think I’ll watch that show anymore.  But I guess Tillman told the judges what he thought of their decision … he farted on the way out!  Way to go buddy!

The show Mik really likes is Dog Whisperer with Caesar Milan.  That man amazes even me!  I get mesmerized just watching.  He is a real pack leader, that guy.  I wouldn’t mind hanging around with his pack for a few days … getting to know the other canines.

Mik is out taking photographs and I’m just lazing around the house.  Hey, I just had a great thought … maybe when I go to the beach with the fam … I might run into Tillman skimboarding.  How cool would that be? !  Actually, I think I’ll try that sport … I’m not big on water, but hey, I’ll let you know how it goes.

Wow!  Did you get to see that Great American Dog show last night?  I am so amazed by the Bulldog, Tillman, who can skateboard, skimboard and snowboard !  I have never seen anything like it.  I could watch his moves all day long … I hope Tillman gets his own movie … yeah, that would be great!

I can’t figure how Tillman maneuvers from side to side … I sometimes have trouble just walking in a straight line.  This dog needs to show me how he does those moves.  He must be one intelligent DOG!  I guess I’m a little impartial, seeing as we’re both d-o-g-s.  Do you think he eats some special super food?  Or does he have super powers?  He is a SuperHero to me!!

Go, Tillman, go!   You’ve already won the Greatest American Dog award as far as I’m concerned.
